The New Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Massage License
New licensing laws took effect in Pennsylvania on Janurary 31, 2011.
The new Regulations Provide that only qualified and upstanding persons can provide massage within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by completing the correct amount of education and having passed a criminal history check.
Licensing is manditory in the State and all therapist must be registered if they provide professional massage therapy. Existing therapist have had the option since late 2010 to apply for Licensing.
All licensed therapists will have a numbered license (wallet and wall copies) issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Occupational Affairs
